Atelier Boronski working with IMO Design and Urdaneta Zeberio were awarded 1st Prize in the design competition for this government project.

It comprises 4000 sq m of Instrumentation and Calibration Laboratories, Forecasting Studios, an underground Wind-tunnel and a  Weather-balloon launch room, as well as maintenance areas and Staff Accommodation. 

Three cylindrical volumes punctuate an undulating surface to form  a 3 dimensional metaphor of weather behaviour.
