This is the first proposal for the Mountain Villa in Gunma, Japan. It is a powerful collection of sculptural spaces that match the drama of the surrounding mountains. The house is arranged along an East / West axis to face the mountains to the south. On the left side are the Main Bedroom and en-suit Lounge and Bathroom with the main Kitchen and Lounge spaces in the middle and the guest rooms on the right. Behind the Main Bedroom is the gallery space, Gym, Sauna and Steam Room.
