Tourist Pavilion

This is a competition entry for a Visitor Rest Center in the city of Rizhao, on the coast, in China.

Glass elipses house lounge, food service and bathroom spaces and are floating on an undulating wave of concrete. There is an extensive silver canopy suppoeted by steel 'tree-like' supports. Space for bicycle parking and mechanical equipment is provide under the undulating slab.
